I love being back to my home church after moving years ago.
I went to the contemporary service, and being older it was a “joyful change.” Singing new praises to our Lord and Savior and listening to the Gospel message always touches part of me. My four year old grand daughter loves to go to church with grandma and has to sit up by Pastor, who she looks up to.
Watching her try to keep up with the songs, I smile at her, and she likes to clap after songs. Lastly, the saying hello to fellow members is so great. When she comes with me she loves people shake her hand and she loves to tell them her name. It’s a joy to be welcomed “home.”
